This is a list of self-care gifts you can use to pamper yourself and relieve stress. I recommend some fun things that I personally love using and find effective to help myself relax.
If you’ve been looking for some unique gifts to spruce up your self-care routine then keep reading below.
Self-Care Gift Ideas
Aromatherapy Eye Pillow
An aromatherapy eye pillow that can be used hot or cold. I love using something like this or gel eye pads cold on my eyes to de-stress. It’s great to just lie down, put it over your eyes, and listen to your favorite music.
Shiatsu Neck and Shoulder Massager
There was a period of time when my shoulders and neck would get really tense and stiff, and it was hard to get anything done without feeling uncomfortable. I bought this off of Amazon (with reservations) in hopes of it helping . The price is reasonable, but it’s not an amount I would typically spend “on a whim”.
This is definitely not an instant pain reliever, but when those muscles are tense, you need something to help loosen them, and this will do that for you. Depending on the settings, it can be quite a deep massage.
Even if you don’t have neck and shoulder pain, I realized after using it how relaxing it can be to just sit on the couch and watch my favorite shows while getting a massage.
Bath Pillow Head Rest
I don’t care how many people say bubble baths are a cliche self-care practice, there are not many things that are as relaxing as a hot bubble bath after a long day.
If you are going to take a bath, why not try to be as comfortable as possible? I feel like I overlooked the necessity of a bath pillow for too long. Don’t make the same mistake I did!
Honestly, if you don’t yet have a Bluetooth speaker, now is the time to get one! It very clearly and very loudly plays music straight from your phone or computer. It makes doing housework and at home workouts infinitely more fun.
Of course, I like to have karaoke sessions by myself every now and again as well ;).
Definitely not the best choice if you live in an apartment or too close to your neighbors though, sorry.
Hand Lettering Book
Aside from pampering yourself, spending time doing a fun activity or hobby is the next best thing.
A popular skill people are learning today is hand lettering and calligraphy.
I like practicing on paper like this book allows you to do and also on my tablet.
It’s relaxing, fun, and rewarding when you can create something that you’re proud of.
Yay! That’s it for my self-care gifts you can treat yo self with. I hope you liked this list as much as I enjoyed creating it.
Self-care isn’t a choice, and it definitely isn’t selfish, it’s an essential part of your mental health and overall well-being. Don’t be afraid to invest in that time with gifts like these that you know will bring you joy. For more self-care gift ideas, see the link below.
